At Gospel Encounter, we're committed to raising up the next generation of young people as passionate carriers of the gospel message. All the training we have done with churches and organizations over the years is coming together in a 6-month discipleship school. This experience will be more intimate than a program that focuses on a classroom setting. This is hands-on learning and mentoring every step of the way. We aren’t just coaches or teachers raising up students. Participants will live and do life with Daniel, Shauna, and our team. We want to equip people who are burning for souls through hands-on outreach experiences so they are equipped to answer the calling of God on their lives to bring in the end-time harvest.

Classes that our interns will participate in will include hermeneutics (how to study the word of God), evangelism (the how/why of sharing our faith), Doctrine of the Holy Spirit, and many more. The second focus of the internship is outreach/evangelism. The participants will have the opportunity to put what they are learning into practice by actively reaching to the community of Mount Vernon, Illinois. We will have several scheduled outreaches where we will share the love of Christ with others. These outreaches will also have the opportunity to extend to outside of the state.

Cost:

The tuition of the internship will cost $6,000. We encourage and will help provide training in support raising for those accepted to the program. The tuition will cover your housing, the cost of classes, travel to and from events, and meals provided during travel events. It will not include groceries, household items, or activities that one might want to participate in during free time.
