Gospel Encounter Missional Internship

Hey folks! My name is Zach, I’m 23 years old and I’m from Savoy, IL.

I believe that there is a ripe harvest in the EDM/Rave scene and that God has commissioned me to be a witness of Christ in the form of an EDM (Electronic Dance Music) artist.

I’m really looking forward to the internship so that I can be trained and equipped with various tools, and techniques for evangelism and ministry. I’m also excited to be a part of a young community of fellow believers, laboring together in the goal of bringing people to the love and joy of Christ.

Hello! Thank you for checking out the intern page! My name is Jack. I am 22 years old and I’m from Ramona, California.

I’m ready to get out there and help bring back Gods children. It truly is sickening how the lies of the enemy have become so normal and I believe God wants me to help clear that up for as many of His children as I can. The love of Jesus is what everyone needs, and I would love to be able to help spread that beautiful truth. Thanks you for taking the time to read this, God Bless!

Hi friends! My name is Josephine Barton. I am 23 years old from Mount Vernon, IL, and I am completing my bachelor's degree in Human Services at Eastern Illinois University.
When I was a student at Rend Lake College, I became involved with a campus ministry called Chi Alpha. Through that ministry, God gave me a heart for international missions as well as a heart for the next generation. I have seen the Lord heal in my own life and believe he wants to heal hearts in the Middle East and in the generation that is coming up.
I have been connected to Gospel Encounter for a few years now, but what made me want to do the internship is recognizing that I am called to be a missionary, but I am not where I need to be in order to do that well. I am looking forward to growing in my faith by being pushed out of my comfort zone and equipped for ministry. I am excited to see what God has in store for my life, the others on the missional team, and in the lives of those we encounter throughout the internship!
