Gospel Encounter Missions is passionate about seeing the Church rise up in the area of evangelism.
It is no longer about one person leading millions to Christ, but millions raised up to reach one soul.

This idea means that it is every Christian's responsibility to take the Gospel to the ends of the Earth. We believe this takes place by knowing Jesus and making Jesus known. We want to know Jesus personally and the more we begin to know Him, the more we will fall in love with Him. As we know and love Him more, we will proclaim Him more. 

At Gospel Encounter, our focus is on four major areas. 

Mission Trips

Gospel Encounter hosts mission trips at our home base in Mt. Vernon, IL, and travels to other cities with partner evangelists to reach those cities for Jesus!

Six-month Missional Internship

Young adults ages 18 - 26 join our team for six months on mission, immersing themselves in daily life-on-life discipleship, classes, and outreach from March to August.

Lifestyle Discipleship Trainings

A holistic approach to living a life of intentional discipleship and evangelism with those in your community.

Citywide Outreaches

We partner with local churches, ministries, and evangelists in reaching their city for Jesus!
