About us

A note from Daniel and Shauna Nalley, founders of Gospel Encounter

We have a fire shut up in our bones and we cannot keep putting off this dream of painting God’s glory in the sky for all to see. As Paul said, “Woe to me if I don’t preach the gospel because I am compelled to preach.” We are like Paul and are ready to share the Gospel and give the opportunity for people to have an authentic encounter with the Lord. Thus, we have named our ministry Gospel Encounter.

Our mission is:

"To know Jesus and make Jesus known

By being all things to all people

Being trained in the word

And led by the Spirit.

And be creative like our Creator."

We have two main focuses, regional and local. Our regional level will focus on training and equipping churches to live a life of evangelism, hosting mission trips across the country and world, and leading gospel-centered outreaches. Our local level will focus on raising up disciples and local outreaches in the Mount Vernon community.

We would love for you to be part of the vision that God has given us. If you want to become more involved with Gospel Encounter, here are three main ways to stay connected.

1. Sign up for our newsletter

You can find out about our latest mission project and keep up to date with new events by signing up for our newsletter.

2. Donate to the mission

Help support different outreaches and mission trips around the world. This will help us continue to spread the gospel all across the country.

3. Book us for your event

Do you need a speaker for your conference or church gathering? Do you want Gospel Encounter to host a outreach in your city? Is your church wanting to host a Evangelism Training? Then book Gospel Encounter to help you spread the Gospel to your town or city.

4. Join our local congregation

If you want to grow deeper in your spiritual walk, then come join us on Sunday mornings at 10:30a.m. or on Wednesday evenings at 6p.m. for our small groups. We would love to see you connect and grow with our local body.
